If you caught a glimpse of the Real Wedding sneak peek of Jonathan & Louise’s celebrations recently, you’ll know that this really was a wedding celebration to remember! I’m pleased to bring you more documentary wedding photography images from their beautiful marquee wedding, held in Somerset.

Jonathan & Louise travelled from London to Jonathan’s home county of Somerset to tie the knot, marrying at the family church of St Andrews in Burnham-On-Sea before holding their reception at his parent’s home near Highbridge. As we’ve come to expect from a British Summer, the weather was undecided on the day – giving us heavy showers during the morning before, miraculously, the sun came out during the wedding ceremony and stayed in place for their garden and marquee reception.

Jonathan & Louise’s wedding was a real family affair, with the marquee and church being beautifully and stylishly decorated in floral design by Louise’s talented relatives. Louise’s gorgeous Ian Stuart gown was the perfect touch of elegance to a very beautiful and moving church service – and Burnham on Sea had never looked so stylish!

The couple are some of the few people who can say that the flight disruption caused by the Icelandic volcano eruption was good news – for they met abroad and found their romance blossoming as they waited for flights! So, it was only fitting that their tables were named after volcanoes!

Take a look below for a selection of documentary wedding photography images from Jonathan & Louise’s big day in Somerset. Many congratulations once again from me!

Having shot a similarly very beautiful wedding on the other side of the country on the same day, I take my hat off and say what a fabulous job you made of this one. No doubt you have two very happy families..

Intermittant bright sunshine and dark cloud made it quite tricky.
