Big news from retail giant Superdrug this week has been that the company has launched its very own loyalty card – the Beauty Card . If you’re a bit of a make-up junkie like me, then this will be news to your ears – points aplenty for all your store and online purchases, and the card even comes complete with a snazzy little mirror for all those touch-ups on the go!
So how do I know all this? It’s because I was in attendance to carry out the commercial PR photography for the private launch party for the Beauty Card this week, at the Haymarket Hotel in London’s West End. Not only was the event to celebrate the launch of the much-awaited Beauty Card, but it was also Superdrug’s opportunity to showcase some of its amazing new makeup and skincare products.
The very lovely brand ambassador for Superdrug and face of the company’s beauty marketing campaigns, Gavin & Stacey star Joanna Page was also in attendance at the event to support the launch and add her very own brand of glamour to the proceedings. Joanna is obviously just as much as a make-up and beauty addict as I am, as she was clearly loving all the products on show!
The event included plenty of opportunities for guests to get a special Superdrug-style pamper, with a raft of beauty experts on tap to provide glamorous makeup sessions, manicures, massages and even add some instant celebrity glamour with gorgeous false eyelashes. I guarantee that every guest at the launch went home feeling like a million dollars!
